May be I have imagined it. But I think that two of the teachers at Jahnavi’s nursery have racial attitude. You may call me paranoid and impossible. When I went to drop her this morning, the older teacher asked me to use the door assigned for visitors. I told them that its not working. The younger teacher said in an aggressive tone,” But it works fine for every body else”. I was lost for words. Then I simple said “Okay” and led my daughter to hang her coat.
Now you may have not noticed anything unusual in the dialogue here. But the tone and expressions can’t be described here. The racial undercurrent was there. The younger teacher herself knows that the buzzer on the visitors’ door isn’t working. And I used the other door because on two occasions, the head teacher herself had indicated me to come through it.
