Looking for New Home

We are looking for a new home to rent. Officially, it is the job of the agency which has been employed by my husband’s company. The agency looks for the potential properties and the informs the HR in the company. They then inform my husband that so and so property has been chosen for us. We have rejected two flats. One was very far from my daughter’s school and other one didn’t have modern furniture. I at least need contemporary sofas in my living room even if it is all carpeted.
My husband said that we will have to accept whatever they offer now. Because the company has to pay £300 every time the agency people go out to look for property. That’s a lot of money, just for going to look!
So we have decided to do a research on our own. We will earmark the apartment and tell the HR staff which will then pass on the information to the agency.
