What am I Going to Do?

Today I had a disaster at home. My computer gave up to ghosts. Its external hard drive crashed. My husband says that it is beyond repair and we will have to discard the laptop. Its hard to part with my 24 hour companion. I am reluctant to give it up. I don’t know what am I going to do now. The other laptop is used by my daughter and husband and both of them will never relinquish their claim.
