Trying Something New

Posted on the December 20th, 2009 under My daughter by Sweet Mommy

My husband was totally into sports in his school days. He was a good swimmer and basketball player. His only regret is that he couldn’t make it to the national basketball team due to his small frame. He wants our daughter to excel in sports. Jahnvi is showing interest in horse riding. So my husband got her admitted in a school which teaches younger kids to ride horses as a part of its extracurricular activities. He even boughtequestrian apparel for her. I don’t know whether she will have the same interest when she is older. Children have shifting interests at this stage.

Off to Goa

My husband will be joining office in Bagalore on 4th January, but before that, he is planning on taking a vacation in Goa. He asked me to join him on the trip, but I declined. My son is only 2 months old and has already suffered from a bout of cold and cough. I can’t take any more risks with his health. When he is older, say eight months or so, then we can think of cancun vacations. That time it will become clear whether my husband will move to UK or be posted in Bangalore.

We are thinking of applying for my son’s passport under ‘Tatkaal’ scheme. My husband got the passport form and asked me to fill it in my free time ( which I rarely get). I filled all the columns and put the form in the drawer of the tv stand. My mother has the most annoying habit of shifting things from one place to another and putting them where she deems fit. She misplaced the form and then forgot where she had put it.Ultimately my four years old daughter found it in one of granny’s purses.

A Family Car

My husband has gone meet his friend, who will take him to an automobile showroom. We are thinking of buying a car. As we are a joint family, we need a big and spacious vehicle. We have already taken care of insurance and for emergency repairs I have suggested to purchase Mopar performance parts. My husband has recently learnt driving and he is keen to get himself a new car,
