My husband is worried that when he is transferred back to India, all his data will take lots of dvds and cds to be stored. I advised him to look for some other options like,secure online storage. I am not much into technology, but I like to keep myself updated and abreast with changes within the internet community. It is really facinating how fast things change in the internetosphere ( Am I the first one to coin this term?!!)
Why can’t people let me live peacefully. As if my in-laws weren’t enough to occupy my everywaking moment, now its that stupid principal. No, the olde principal retired last month. This obnoxious person is the officiating principal and she has the gal to send me a letter demanding my immediate return. NOw who does she think I am? A Criminal on the run? For whom she has to send bounty hunters! Really, this is too much. I can’t think straight and this is the time when you are not supposed to take stress. Well, women with lots of stress level do manage to delivever babies, don’t they. I will also survive this, hopefully, with the help of thebest fat burner( I am eating like a pig now a days).
So the baby is due in October, and I would be flying back to India this month. We will have to send birth announcements to all our relatives and friends. But that will be later, after baby’s birth. Right now I have so many apprehensions regarding going back. I will have to join the college the day my plane touches the Indian soil. I won’t have time to get enough sleep or rest and I will be straight in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the college. But college is least of my worries. I am more concerened about my stay at my in-laws. I am never comfortable with getting food or anything to eat for myself when I am there. Actually I am afraid of doing or buying anything for myself or my daughter. Its a constant pressure and stress living in that prison of a house. I am expected to take care of every other family member except myself and my daughter. I don’t how I am going to live through the month that I have to spend there.
I had a visitor today. He was the gentleman living downstairs below our flat. He said that the roof over his gallery was leaking and wanted to check if there was any leakage from our floor. I let him in and both of us examined the area in the bathroom from where the water is supposed to leak , but found nothig wrong. I have called my husband and he will be sending a plumber in the evening.
On second look in the bathroom, I found out that the faucet on washbasin is leaking because it doen’t turn off comletley. So I am going to replace that with Danze faucet as they are considered quite good. I will have to discuss it with the plumber too. Lets hope he arrives early as the gentleman downstairs must be having a hard time keeping his floor dry.
