A distant relative came to meet dad yesterday. Her son is undergoing Mesothelioma treatment. She was having troubles to locate the oncologist, who was looking after her son at the hospital. My dad told her that the oncologist in question is not trustworthy. Most of the time he is absent from duty due to his alcoholism. He has had fights with harried attendants of patients. The relative is now in a fix, she doesn’t have money for private treatment and there is no other govt. hospital in this area.
There is good news for me. My husband is coming to India to get us. Actually he is killing two birds with one stone. He will be attending the marriage of his cousin during his stay in India. The cousin is a truck driver. He has asked my husband to get him some truck accessories. After attending the wedding, we will all return to London. It is a great relief for me.
My son is four and a half months now, but still I haven’t been able to figure out his sleeping pattern. He may sleep for hours during the day, or he will be playing through out. His sleep during night is very erratic too. He wakes up every hour to get feed. Earlier he used to sleep continuously for four hours during night. That was when it was a very cold winter. Now when the weather has turned warmer, he is getting up. May be it is because of theprotective clothing that I still use for him. Perhaps he feels hot in it now.
Every body is complaining about my daughter Jahnavi. They say that she is very naughty. Well I don’t consider it a bad thing considerening Jahnavi is only four years old. But nobody thinks likes a mother. Yesterday my brother was furious that his Bluetooth headset was missing and he blamed Jahnavi for that. He said that he was hundred percent sure that Jahnavi had taen it to play and put it somewhere. I don’t like people assuming something and then putting blames on others based on their assumptions.
I will be going to London with children next month. My husband has applied for short term health insurance NC for all of us. I am a little apprehensive about travelling with kids. My son is a fussy eater. He doesn’t take feed for more than two minutes. And he is always hungry. How am I going to feed him during the flight? I haven’t put him to bottle as doctors advise against using bottle. I have asked my husband to come to India to get us.
I am a 32 year old Indian woman who spends most of the time in Europe. I thought that I liked to travel, but now I am not so sure. I have been to Switzerland, France, England, Scotland and Spain. I have a little daughter whom I dot on (all mothers do, nothing new). I fear that my overbearing attitude is turning her into a timid and fearful person. I am a recluse and don’t like to interact with people. Internet is my hiding place. I am most comfortable and at ease when I am writing in my blogs. One day I want to quit my job and turn to full time blogging (oh! The ultimate dream of all introverts).
